Educational Touring: Fall 2005

Illusion Theater tours its live education plays locally and nationally, throughout the year. The theater also helps communities form coalitions of individuals and organizations to work together to bring plays to their area. PEACE UP! Grades: 3-6 Length: 45 minutes Cost: $800 Peace Up! focuses on ways to channel anger constructively and prevent violence and harassment.  Thought-provoking scenes and songs are woven together by a moderator who interacts with audience members about what is happening onstage.  A discussion follows each performance. WHAT GOES AROUND... Grades: 6-9 or 9-12 Length: 50 minutes Cost: $800 What Goes Around addresses social attitudes about violence, gender and sex; sexual harassment; racial harassment and diversity; family violence; stereotypes; substance abuse; communication; and respect as a core value for individuals, schools and communities.  A discussion led by a moderator follows every performance.
