McKinnley Aitchison (Artist Company) is an actor, singer and teaching artist based in the Twin Cities. She’s performed on stages throughout the Twin Cities including Theater Latte Da, Illusion Theatre, History Theatre, Old Log Theater and more. She serves as a teaching artist for Illusion Theatre in a residency program at Highland Park Middle School. Additionally, she can be seen in concert performing for various senior living organizations across the metro. She passionately believes in arts access for all humans!
Victoria Bravo (Artist Company) was born and raised in Tucson Arizona and moved to Minneapolis in 2011. She is back for her 3rd KEEPIN’ IT REAL production. A former tennis professional, Victoria joined ILLUSION THEATER in 2021 when she decided to take on life in a whole new way. Being a survivor of abuse herself, she feels that she has lived many of these stories herself therefore can “act” them with a resonance that the teens can connect with. She has a great passion for Education, Children, and Psychology and feels honored and blessed to be a part of such a project that could potentially help and change a teen’s life.
Alex Church (He/Him) (Artist Company) is a performer, playwright, director, and dramaturg based in Minneapolis. He's worked on all sides of the stage with the Guthrie, Full Circle Theater, Six Points Theater, Minnesota Fringe Festival, and now Illusion! His projects have received grant funding from the Lakes Region Arts Council, Metropolitan Region Arts Council, and the University of Minnesota. Javari Mytaé Horne (She/Her) (Artist Company) is a multi-disciplinary artist, activist, and dreamer. She has performed at Artistry, Chanhassen Dinner Theaters, DalekoArts, Stages Theatre, Children’s Theatre and Normandale Community College, where she gained her associates degree. Her focus is to bring communities together through the art of storytelling, movement and song and spark conversations on the growth of society. She is delighted to be working with Illusion for the first time!
Ricky Morisseau (Artist Company) is from the ‘hood of Delray Beach, FL. Graduating Florida A&M University with a BA in Theatre Performance, and a concentration in Dance from Florida State University. They perform, dance, model, and teach. Ricky has collaborated and performed with numerous arts organizations nationally—ILLUSION THEATER included. Bri Peterson (Artist Company) is excited to be back working on the KEEPIN’ IT REAL project! Born and raised right here in the Twin Cities, she was practically raised within SteppingStone Theater's walls, and did multiple classes as well as mainstage shows as an actor and various tech positions. She participated in Ramsey Junior High and Como Park Senior High School theater programs and studied theater at Dickinson State University. She has a passion for singing, being involved in choirs since the age of three, and having solo voice training from high school to the present. She was a part of ILLUSION THEATER's Ready Set Action!
Virginia Culhane has been working in various roles at the ILLUSION THEATER over the past two years including sound and projection design, stage management, front of house, video captioning, and COVID safety. As well as theatre, they have a background in Japanese language and Asian studies. They are excited to join the KEEPIN’ IT REAL family!
